Policlínica Barcelona is a medical and hospital centre with more than 50 years of experience which works with many insurance companies to care for their clients. This requires strict control of space occupancy, and for this reason it asked Bioaccez to provide a solution to systematise the use of the spaces by the affiliated medical staff.
We planned the design of an access control linked to a digital video system which allows the hospital to have exhaustive information on the space occupancy. The system installed uses software that allows for analytical compatibility between the rented offices and provides information on the insurance companies accepted. To implement it, we used proximity readers, access cards and Ethernet video cameras.
With this investment, we managed to provide 100% reliable information on space occupancy to both professionals and insurance companies. Therefore, this allows much more efficient economic control by all parties.
