ESADE, an international business school with more than 50 years of history, decided to carry out a pilot test using new identification technologies. Specifically, it asked us to equip a selection of classrooms, located in Sant Cugat del Vallès, with fingerprint readers in order to record attendance in some of the Master’s programmes it offers.
We at Bioaccez resolved ESADE’s request by installing biometric fingerprint readers using optical technology associated with an IT system based on Citrix technology.
The pilot test concluded successfully and the university decided to implement the system in other classrooms with the goal of having automatic, reliable records of attendance in the Master’s programmes they offer.
