The Cordemais power station is the largest thermal energy station in France and one of the largest electricity producers in the country. The station is located in the western part of France in Cordemais, in the department of Loire-Atlantique, Pays de la Loire.
The power station had to resolve access to the station to load and unload coal, so it commissioned Bioaccez to develop a system that allowed it to remotely control access through Omnia-IP terminals and Accez-Prox readers. This system is connected to an ADSL data network with a stationary IP, and this allows the entrance accreditations to access the reserved areas with Accez-cards to be managed remotely via the Internet.
