LOCATION SYSTEM AT TREBISACCE, CALABRIA

Bioaccez has launched the location system at Galleria Trebisacce. The tunnel is located in Calabria, at the south of Italy. Active RFID technology is the core of location system. The system locates persons and trucks. This first tunnel Galleria Nord is one of the works on SS 106 Jonica, also known the superhighway of the three seas. The gallery is ATEX classified. Readers, antennas and cables are Ex I M1 hazardous classified. An external display counts the people and vehicles at each tunnel.
