The Les Lauriers Rosés geriatric residence located in Soler (Perpignan) has installed a system to counter patient escapes. The company Midi-telephone was charged with the installation using the Bioaccez RFID anti-flight system.
The purpose of this intervention is to prevent escapes and to have information on the time when they occur. As soon as someone escapes, an alert is sent to the CAM telephone of the nursing staff, while information is also sent to the access control programme (Transeo-Plus), powerful and economical software that manages and controls access, which is also capable of managing IP video events.
The main doorways, gardens and machine rooms are equipped with antennas and receivers to detect patient escapes and alert the caregiving staff.
